Bob Rains

Managing Partner

Bob Rains, co-founder and managing partner, was at the forefront of growth in Cleveland, acquiring and rehabilitating six projects in Cleveland’s Historic Warehouse District and one building in Indianapolis. Those buildings were rehabilitated into a total of 800 apartments, 110,000 square feet of retail space and a 180-suite Marriott Residence Inn. Mr. Rains has received numerous awards for his achievements, including the 2005 Ruth Ratner Miller Award for Outstanding Civic Achievement.

John Carney

Managing Partner

John Carney, co-founder and managing partner, is a real estate owner and developer with extensive experience in the management, investment and development of real estate. He is active in the community, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of The Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority. John has received numerous awards, the most recent being the Westside Ecumenical Council Lamplighter Award in 2006 and the 2005 Ruth Ratner Miller Award for Outstanding Civic Achievement.

Dan Ross

Director of Operations

Dan Ross, Landmark Management’s Director of Operations oversees the marketing and operational performance of all of Landmark’s multifamily residential communities.

Dan has over 25 years experience in the multi family housing industry in Northeast Ohio. Dan has been with Landmark Management since September 2005. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University.

Karen Walker

Accounting Administrator

Karen Walker is responsible for the accounting and finances for Landmark RE Mgt. and all of their residential communities. Karen joined Landmark in December of 2000. Her prior work experience was in retail accounting where she worked for both Homeplace and OfficeMax. She has an accounting degree from Bluffton University.

Lauren Skirbunt

Property Manager

Lauren is the Property Manager of Bridgeview and Perry Payne Apartments. She has been with the Landmark Management team since June 2005, where she started as a Leasing Consultant, and worked her way up to Property Management. As a Water Street resident and a Cleveland native, she has a vast knowledge of what this city has to offer and the living experience desired. Her dedication and enthusiasm towards her residents is unprecedented. She has a Bachelor of Philosophy from Miami University's Interdisciplinary Studies/Honors Program.

Sandra Truesdale

Property Manager

As the manager of Water Street Sandra is very excited to keep Water Street the best place to live in Downtown Cleveland. Sandra has been a leasing consultant for Landmark Management for over 4 years. Sandra was one of the first people to purchase a condominium at Water Street and loves living in The Historic Warehouse District. Sandra would not consider living anywhere other than Downtown Cleveland.

Amy Irwin

Property Manager

Amy Irwin comes to The Block with ten years of property management experience. She has managed communities in Indiana and Kentucky, and is excited to be part of the Downtown Indianapolis community. She brings a passion for her residents, and strives to foster the community spirit within The Block. Amy is a longtime resident of Indiana with a vast knowledge of the Downtown Indianapolis and all that it has to offer.
